"My mentors in my undergraduate career at UNI helped me create such a strong and sustainable framework for my instrument, that I felt the best move I could possibly make was to stay and continue to learn and grow from them. I owe my musicianship, artistry, vocal strength and growth as a human being to my many teachers at UNI. There are so many to name, but I want to especially thank Drs. Jean McDonald, Korey Barrett, and Joh Len Wiles.
My time at UNI gave me groundwork to springboard off of into a professional career. The historical knowledge, musicianship lessons, vocal teachings, and life lessons I gained at UNI have allowed me to work efficiently and effectively with a wide range of people in this wonderfully crazy world of music. Ultimately, UNI helped me build the skills to be able to learn from any person and any experience."
