"I wanted to get my Master's at UNI because the class sizes were small enough for me to get to know my professors and have more individualized attention. I also wanted to gain invaluable teaching experience as a Graduate Teaching Assistant. They also offered a graduate student scholarship that helped cover tuition expenses.
Having a Master's degree opens a lot of doors, because it shows your ability to work hard and follow-through on goals. I currently work with a team of native speakers of Spanish, and my Master's degree signaled to HR that I was highly skilled in the language, even though I'm not a native speaker."
