I knew that the UNI Mathematics faculty had my back and were willing to help me be successful. I was "seen"; I wasn't just some student in their class. [Faculty] were always willing to chat with me about the future and what I would like to study. Beyond that, they always made themselves available for office hours when I needed extra guidance on how to successfully approach and understand the material.
