Data Analyst and Graduate Funding Coordinator
Diego oversees the Graduate Assistantship and Graduate College funding allocation processes by communicating and providing support to graduate program secretaries, program coordinators, department heads and graduate students. He ensures that the completed paperwork done by programs is accurate, meeting the established deadlines so that qualified students may receive their funding. He also works with various campus offices including Financial Aid & Scholarships, Registrar, Payroll, Human Resources, Admissions and International Students & Scholars Office. In the Data Analyst component of this position, he manages data collection, analysis, interpretation and dissemination for the Graduate College to facilitate data informed decisions.
- M.S. in Technology Management from the University of Northern Iowa in 2019.
- BS in Civil Industrial Engineering 2015 from the University of Tarapaca in Chile.
- Diego has been awarded with the Best Student Award while completing his Industrial Engineering degree at Universidad de Tarapaca.
- A native of Chile, he worked for Lombardi Enterprises as Sub Manager of Operations completing meaningful and high-scale production projects.
- In recognition of his service orientation to students, faculty and staff, Diego was named a 2020, 2021 and 2022 recipient of the Panther First Award which recognizes attitude, teamwork and initiative.
