New for 2010

Oral Presentations are back!

• Oral Presenations are a category for the 2010 Research Symposium.
• Due to their expected popularity, they will be strictly limited to 10 minutes in length plus 3 minutes for questions.

Announcement and Presentation of Awards

• Awards for all three categories will be presented on Tuesday, April 13, 2010 in conjunction with the Graduate College's 40th Anniversary Reception.
  Presenters need not be present to receive their awards.
• It will be held in the Georgian Lounge, The Commons. Tentatively scheduled from 2:00 - 4:00 pm.
• This year's awards in each of the three categories will be:
  • First Place: $200
  • Second Place: $100
  • Third Place: $50

Faculty Sign-Off

• Submissions must be approved by faculty members before they will be accepted.
• Content for the Symposium is very open to all levels and types of research and study. The faculty member should check for flow and coherence as well as grammar, general proofing, and following posted word limits.
• The Registration Form will only be accepted electronically. The sign-off will involve partipants listing the faculty member and the date they met.
