The Graduate College is hosting an informational program on Wednesday,
November 4th called Thinking About Graduate School? (T.A.G.S.). It will
take place from 3:00 to 4:15 pm in the Maucker Union Ballroom. The event
is aimed at undergraduates who are interested in pursuing graduate
school at any institution, in any area of study. The program will
feature a presentation by Dr. Shoshanna Coon, Interim Associate Dean of
the Graduate College, about the ins and outs of applying to graduate
school.
The event will help you decide if graduate school is right for you. Topics covered in the presentation will include information about entrance exams, application deadlines, and program selection. There will also be a graduate student panel and a graduate faculty panel from across academic disciplines. Panelists will discuss their experiences in applying and attending graduate school as well as answer questions from the audience.
The event is co-sponsored by the Minority Graduate Student Association and the Honors Student Advisory Board. Light refreshments will be served. For questions, please contact the Graduate
College at 273-2748 or email gradlife@uni.edu
