Graduate Student Advisory Board
Thank you from Brock Holman, Chair
Sincere thanks goes to those who served on the Graduate Student Advisory Board this year, as I very much appreciate their service and leadership in increasing the profile of graduate students and graduate education on campus. Special thanks to Pasha Agoes and Chelsea DeLucenay for their help in creating a mission statement for the group. Meetings this year included a discussion with the Department of Residence regarding housing options for graduate students and a Luncheon with President and Mrs. Allen at their home.

Professional Development on the Web
We know the refrains: "I'm too busy. I have class then. I have to eat then. I don't want to walk all the way back over there..." So, you missed the workshops the first time around.
This Spring we began recording and posting some of our professional development workshops online. Now that summer is almost here and you have free time, take some of that time and explore the workshops you missed!
This coming Fall we will have a professional development page on the Graduate College website with information, handouts, and video from past presentations and details on upcoming sessions.
The following workshops can be viewed by clicking on the links. The postings include video, audio, and navigation through PowerPoint slides.
