Darek Benesh taught for six years before deciding to pursue an MA in "English: Creative Writing." His undergraduate degree was in TESOL (also from UNI). Darek originally comes from just south of Cedar Rapids, but now lives in Cedar Falls with his wife, Kayoko, and their son, Go.
